As summer winds down and the school year approaches, itās time to come together as a community and support our students. The Amity Foundation, in partnership with State Representative Alabas A. Farhat, is hosting a Back-to-School Assembly DriveĀ to help prepare local children for a successful school year.
š Location:Ā 6060 Miller Rd, Dearborn, MI 48126
š Date:Ā Sunday, August 24
ā° Time:Ā 11:00 AM
This initiative is all about lending a helping hand and making sure our students start the year off strong. Volunteers will be working together to assemble school supplies that will directly benefit families in need. While backpacks will not be distributed at the event, the supplies prepared will go a long way in easing the financial burden for parents and ensuring every child is ready to learn.

Why This Matters
Back-to-school season can be stressful for many families, especially with the rising cost of supplies. By volunteering your time, youāre doing more than just packing notebooks and pencilsāyouāre sending a message of encouragement and support to local students. Youāre helping them walk into the classroom with confidence, knowing their community believes in their future.
How You Can Help
Weāre calling on community members, friends, and families to join us as volunteersĀ for this important cause. Whether you can lend an hour or stay for the full event, every effort counts. Together, we can assemble hundreds of kits that will put smiles on childrenās faces this school year.
Community at Its Best
This drive is more than an eventāitās a reflection of the power of community. When we unite for a common goal, we create real change and lasting impact. We encourage everyone to come out, bring your positive energy, and help us build brighter beginnings for our youth.
⨠Letās come together this August 24th and make sure our students step into the school year prepared and confident. Your time, your hands, and your heart can make all the difference!
